The people of Tokelau have a long history of being skilled builders and craftspeople, and well before the electric drill came along, they had already invented a way to get the job done. The vilivili was a hand operated pump drilling tool that sped up work and revolutionised building. It may have looked simple, but this piece of technology paved the way for the electric tools we use today. Your Pacific ancestors were construction innovators from way back. Study engineering at school and carry their legacy into the future.
